How does an overly hot or humid laundry room affect the machines, and what should you do?
According to IMAGE's washer manual, if the ambient temperature exceeds 50 °C, the motor will overheat more often and the electronics may be damaged. Relative humidity above 90% can cause the electronics or motor to malfunction, trip the earth-leakage (RCD) breaker and corrode metal parts. The manual recommends periodically checking the make-up air openings for dryers, ironers and water heaters.
