🧺 Imbalance light coming on a lot: do you always need to call a technician right away?
Not always. The IMAGE automatic washer manual states that when the load is out of balance, the machine stops spinning and redistributes the load, and the imbalance indicator lights up. So the light is a signal from the machine's protection system. Before calling a technician, open the machine and check whether the load has been put in properly. This is simple general advice that helps rule out the basic causes first. What the manual stresses is that you must never run the machine with the imbalance switch disabled or bypassed. If the light still comes on after checking, follow the machine's manual.
