🔥 Can oily cloths or mop heads go in the dryer?
According to the IMAGE dryer manual, no. For laundries and factories, knowing what must never go into a dryer is part of operating it safely. The manual lists these precautions:
1. Dry only items that have been washed in water
2. Do not dry items soiled with or cleaned in dry-cleaning solvents, flammable detergents or all-purpose cleaners, as there is a risk of explosion
3. Do not dry rags or items soiled with petrol, kerosene, oil, paint or wax, and do not dry mop heads, because the wax or solvents present a fire hazard
4. Do not apply heat to plastic, foam or foam rubber
5. Remove items immediately when the cycle ends
The manual states that items left in the dryer after the drying and cool-down cycles have finished may create a fire hazard. Follow the machine's manual for model-specific details.
