Clean dryer lint screens every 3-4 loads, not once a day

🧺 How often should you clean the dryer lint screen?
The IMAGE dryer manual states that lint from most fabrics is highly flammable, so the lint screen needs regular attention. IMAGE dryer manuals give the following guidance:
1. For 30, 50, 75 and 200 lb dryers, clean the lint screen every 3-4 loads
2. For the 225 lb model, clean it after every load, because a clogged lint screen affects machine performance
3. At the start of every shift, check the screen for tears and replace it if torn
4. Before starting a load, check the screen in the lint compartment and close the door and lint drawer fully, otherwise the dryer will not run
5. These intervals assume average use of 6-8 hours a day; the manual recommends adjusting them based on each laundry's own experience
The manual lists infrequent lint screen cleaning as one of the causes of slow drying. The figures above vary by model, so follow the manual for the machine you use.
