🧺 Problems with linen coming off the ironer? Did you know the symptoms point to the cause?
In a laundry, the linen coming out of the ironer tells you what needs adjusting. The IMAGE ironer manual has a troubleshooting table that starts from the condition of the linen at the exit, as follows:
1. Linen still damp: ironing speed too high, steam pressure or temperature too low, or roll padding clogged
2. Linen smells scorched: ironing speed too low, or steam pressure or temperature too high
3. Linen tracking at an angle: there may be dirt or chemical build-up on the chest, or the rolls may be out of alignment; clean, then re-wax
4. This table comes from IMAGE's heated-cylinder and chest ironer manuals; for the settings and adjustment method for each model, follow that machine's manual
